I was squinting. For far too long, really. My temples pulsed and the screen drew squiggles. A headache was coming on strong, and I thought myself unwell. Beyond my computer was a small case. I slapped my forehead with a pain I deserved. In the case was my glasses. An apparatus which would un squiggle the screen. A device that bats off stings of the mind. Once the glasses sit over my nose, I read clearly and ask myself why I hadn’t realised this earlier.
